More News Coverage
I forgot to mention yesterday that the Journal News posted an editorial about this issue, written by Tom Bracken. They included a picture of their own. The publication date was Monday, Decemer 6, 2009, if you'd like to take a look. Let's continue to get the media involved - we don't want to let this be an "out of sight, out of mind" situation for the people who don't have to look at and deal with the results of Con Edison's handiwork every day of their lives.

I've pursued some additional channels as well, e.g., finding out about Con Ed's 'position' on this, and finding out Yonker's perspective on this too - as a neighboring community that we can coordinate our efforts with. But I'm very glad to hear that Andrea Stewart-Cousins is also on board now too! This is the direction we will need to be going in. And that you are keeping it in the media - I will be looking up your Op-ed piece now, Tom!
AND I'm very interested in the comment on Monday that the PSC will simply be 'in bed' with Con Ed on this. Con Ed certainly can't be too afraid of them - that's for sure!!! So, whatever specifics might be shared about that, please do! (email me at ajr@tiac.net, if you want)
