Today, my husband, Tom received a letter from Nita Lowey and I received a phone call from Andrea Stewart-Cousins' office. Also, our neighbor spoke with Ms. Cousins last week. Both of these elected officials are trying to arrange a meeting with the PSC and Con Ed to discuss our issues. They are in touch with Paul Feiner, as well.

Be careful about the PSC in dealing with these matters. They don't care about the damage that has been done and will defer to Con Edison on all. There needs to be investigative hearings conducted at both the county and state levels to investigate both Con Edison and the PSC.
ReplyDeleteAny replanting or restoration work done by Con Edison is pitiful. Your elected officals should not have allowed it to get to this point. They need to take a much stronger stance.
